Your calculator inputs stay in your browser

Everything you type into the redundancy calculator — salary, service years, age, leave balances — is processed entirely in your browser by JavaScript running on your device. These figures are never transmitted to our servers or to any third party, and we could not read them if we wanted to.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects data such as your approximate location (derived from a truncated IP address), browser and device type. We use this data only in aggregate; it never includes anything you enter into the calculator. You can opt out with theGoogle Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense, which is how a free tool pays for itself. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can:

1. Opt out of personalised advertising atGoogle Ads Settings;
2. Opt out of other third-party vendors' cookies atyouradchoices.com;
3. Block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings — the calculator works fine without them.

What we don't do

1. We don't collect names, email addresses or any account information — there are no accounts.
2. We don't sell or share personal information.
3. We don't store your calculator inputs, anywhere, ever.
